The global alliance SkyTeam is offering a 10% discount on on Go-Round-the-World tickets. The discount is valid on journeys of up to 26,000 miles bought between 23 January and 13 March 2014. The tickets must be booked more than seven prior to departure and the journey must take place within six months.
SkyTeam is constantly working to improve its range of products. The alliance tries to make the most of its global network of 19 airlines – soon to be 20, when Garuda Indonesia joins – to offer comfortable and accessible journeys to a greater number of destinations.
SkyTeam recently announced the launch of the “Online Round the World Booking Tool”. This enables passengers to book complicated flight schedules in a simple way. The booking tool is divided into four fare categories based on distances ranging from 26,000 to 38,000 miles. The current SkyTeam discount applies to journeys that fall within the cheapest fare category. For instance, a SkyTeam Round-the-World journey via London, Mexico City, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Moscow and back to London.
