Snorkeling kills a cruise passenger of Princess Cruise

princess-cruiseA passenger of a cruise ship of Princess Cruise was exploring the region of Antigua that is located in West Indies. However, he met his end tragically on Saturday while enjoying an activity of snorkeling.


The person was named Martin Brutosky was aged about 64.

He had been snorkeling close to Bird Island when he met his end. The police has not suspected any kind of foul play in the death of Martin Brutosky. He and his wife Diane Montero had reached in Antigua on the morning of 3rd December on a Princess cruise ship.

Then, in the afternoon they had gone on a tour of Stingray City.

The tour also included snorkeling just near Bird Island. According to one of the media sources, the wife reported the police about her husband’s death as soon as she noticed that her husband had stopped moving.

The incident occurred about ten minutes after they were in the water.

This lady also mentioned that she had brought her husband to the surface of the water and called for assistance. Immediately, one of the captains of the Stingray city boat provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to her husband.

However, even after being provided CPR, the man continued to be unresponsive.

So, he was rushed to Jumpy Bay and here, more CPR was administered to him. Thereafter, he was taken to Shell Beach. Here, he was picked up by EMS and taken to Mount St. John’s Medical Centre.

The man was declared dead on arrival.

It has been announced that the man suffered from high blood pressure.

Right now, his body is at the Barnes Funeral home.
