The 12th Annual Mexico Showcase and Travel Expo 2013 is the longest running, most successful hosted buyer program in Mexico. This year the travel expo will be held from April 25th to 28th, 2013 in Cancun. On this occasion the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau, Mexico Tourism Board and Global Incentive Management – Mexico DMC (www.gimdmc.com) are inviting group qualified meeting planners to the Annual Mexico Showcase and Travel Expo.
Suppliers from Mexico Hotels, DMC’s and other support service providers are anxious to showcase their properties and services to promote Mexico as the perfect Group Travel Destination.
An industry seminar will also be held for planners and suppliers. The subject of the seminar is “The Legal Watch Outs For” which will be facilitated by Darryl B. Cohen, a long time Entertainment and Criminal Defense attorney who also specializes in the Travel Industry. Darryl is a partner of Cohen, Cooper, Estep & Allen, LLC, and previously a partner of Katz, Smith & Cohen in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a former Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Dade County, Florida, and Assistant District Attorney in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. His Entertainment practice includes representation of television anchors, actors, photographers, models, recording artists, and talent agencies as well as syndicated television, including several reality shows. In addition Darryl is heavily involved in the Travel Industry both as a planner and a frequent speaker regarding the potential legal issues and “got ya’s” for both planners and hotel properties .During his career as a criminal defense lawyer, he has represented the entire spectrum of clients for over forty years including numerous high profile criminal/entertainment related cases covered by the national media.
