Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton hotel is pleased to announce its participation in theImpact Experiences, offering group guests the opportunity to participate in socially responsible activities that will leave a positive impact on Oman while leaving guests with many unforgettable memories that will be cherished for years to come.
Part of the Community Footprints program, Al Bustan Palace’s signature Impact Experience invites group guests for two on-property programs and one offsite activity for groups willing to make an impact in the community this Ramadan, while staying at the hotel. A participation fee of OMR 1 per attendant is charged to cover the program’s basic costs.
The first activity planned during the Holy Month of Ramadan is cookie designing. Group attendees will be able to take part in the decoration of “henna cookies”- cookies shaped in the design of henna hands which will be later donated to local communities in need including the local Al Khoud girls orphanage and the children in intensive care at the pediatric ward of the Royal Hospital in Muscat.
During the celebrations of Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha – the largest religious festivals in the GCC, event attendees will be decorating and designing Ramadan Kareem and Eid greeting cards with special wishes dedicated to the orphans, making the little ones feel special and loved amidst the celebrations.
For those wanting to give back to Mother Nature this holy month, Oman’s Mangrove Nature Reserve is the best bet. This experience will include an environmental clean-up, a mangrove planting session and a presentation conducted by a representative from the Ministry of Environment.
