Australia-beachesAustralia has recognised that the major thrust on its tourism lies in its beaches. Most tourists come to Australia to visit its beach and coastal harbor experience.

The Great Barrier Reef and the Aquatic wildlife pull 47 per cent tourists to Australia. Therefore in the latest campaign “There’s Nothing Like Australia,” goes on to showcase the delightful beaches of the country.

Australia is focusing on key inbound markets of China, India, Singapore Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan and Korea.

The campaign is focusing on Australia’s natural strength of beach experience, non aquatic wildlife, coastal and harbour experience. The campaign hopes to increase visitation especially since visitation to the beaches and Great Barrier Reef went down by 10 per cent.

The campaign will be launched in 2016, featuring the attractiveness of the destination along with its wide array of food and wine, which is already being promoted in the Restaurant Australia campaign and will run along with the new campaign. The Tourism authorities have decided to also feature David Attenborough’s three-part documentary ‘The Great Reef’ in 130 countries as part of the campaign taking viewers to the past, present and future journeys of the Reef.
