The Strand Course at Portstewart appears on the cover of the latest edition of a leading American golf magazine, called LINKS.
LINKS is an extremely popular publication, with about 220,000 readers. Tourism Ireland in New York invited journalist Tom Coyne, from the magazine, to visit last May. The resulting article features stunning photography – including the cover shot of Portstewart and a great photo of the fourth hole at Ardglass. It describes our “extraordinary hospitality and golf of the purest and most dramatic variety”. A sample itinerary suggests playing Ardglass, Castlerock, Portstewart, Ballyliffin, Royal Portrush and Royal County Down.
Promoting golf in Northern Ireland is a major focus for Tourism Ireland, in the United States and in other important golf markets around the world.
