Tourism Police of Abu Dhabi strengthens security for tourists during Eid

eid-icon-2-300x225The Tourism Police Section of Abu Dhabi elucidates its intensified efforts in organizing and developing the emirate’s tourism security sector during the Eid Al Fitr holidays. Chief of Tourism Police Section at Abu Dhabi Police, Lieutenant Colonel Muzeed Fahd Al Otaibi, requested the citizens, residents and tourists not to hesitate to ask for the tourism police officers’ help when needed.

 

He also requested them to follow the country’s laws, respect ethnicity and preserve the safety of the sites they visit and support tourism and contribute to making the UAE one of the most popular tourist destinations for world tourists.
 

Lieutenant Colonel Al Otaibi highlighted the enthusiasm of the department to attain the highest standards of security and safety within a nonviolent atmosphere and its commitment to preserve tourists’ safety by minimizing accidents they may face. He also revealed that the Tourism Police Section runs several offices at various places, including two offices at Abu Dhabi Corniche, one office at Al Bateen Beach, and another at Yas Water World to monitor security in their areas of control; prepare associated reports, collects notifications about any accident and forward them to concerned police entities in case it becomes necessary, preserve found belongings to be returned to legal owners after ownership is confirmed, send all found assets back to the Capital Police Directorate to be stored in case nobody claims them as well as solve small difficulties faced by visitors.
