The sudden snow storm in USA threatens to stretch on for days, forcing dozens of school districts to close on Long Island and in Connecticut and threatening delays on the region’s transportation network on Monday morning.
City streets resembled ski slopes or mountain passes, with cars and even some houses obscured by a thick blanket of white. More than three feet of snow fell in parts of Connecticut, and more than two feet accumulated on Long Island and in Massachusetts, where the storm caused coastal flooding that forced evacuations.
The transportation facility of the United States including some of the major destinations and cities suffered a heavy blow due to this unprecedented mid-winter snowfall.
