mothers-day-300x168Show Mom how much you appreciate her this Mother’s Day with an elegant brunch in Talavera, or down-home cooking in Proof, an American Canteen, at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North on Sunday, May 11, 2014.

The Resort is offering Mother’s Day brunch from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm in Talavera restaurant, boasting dramatic views and the best patio dining in the Valley. Guests can savour “Flavors from the Sea,” inclusive of shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell and smoked salmon. Specialty items from the carving station include slow roasted prime rib and poached Alaskan halibut, along with honey glazed ham. An omelet station, cheese and charcuterie selection, and dessert offerings round out the menu. The cost of the buffet is USD 87.00 per person, and USD 43.00 for children ages 5 to 12. Guests may add a Bellini or Bloody Mary for an additional USD 10.00.

For those who want to treat Mom to homestyle comfort food, enjoy a three-course meal in Proof. Begin with a chilled soup trio or duck salad followed by a seared scallop for the main course. Finish off the meal with peach cobbler just like Grandma used to make. This specialty menu costs USD 48.00 per person and will supplement the daily menu offered.

Families will delight in the complimentary Mother’s Day carnival from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on the outdoor lawn. Featured activities include a bounce house, hula hoops, ball games and cookie decorating. This event is open to guests of the Resort as well as visitors attending the brunch in Talavera.

Extend the celebration for Mom with a weekend stay at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale with room rates starting at USD 349.00 for a luxurious casita guestroom. The Experience More package begins at USD 419.00 per night for a deluxe room, with a USD 100.00 credit for every two paid consecutive nights. Enjoy poolside relaxation, complimentary stargazing on Friday night and hiking at nearby Pinnacle Peak Park.
