TFLLOGO2Hotly anticipated, the arrival of the iconic Two Fat Ladies restaurant brings the finest and freshest dining experience from Glasgow to the sumptuous surroundings of the four-star Marine Hotel. The new venue has also created a dozen new jobs for the area.

The new restaurant is the latest addition to the Two Fat Ladies family, owned by renowned restaurateur, Ryan James. Known for his high quality dining experience and customer service, Ryan and his team have been busy training the new recruits to ensure guests and locals can enjoy the Two Fat Ladies dining experience in the new venue.

Inspired by The Buttery, the new restaurant boasts the unique cosy charm and character associated with the Two Fat Ladies group having undergone a renovation by the Marine Hotel as part of its five figure investment on the new venue. Those familiar with the much loved Buttery may notice a few similarities at The Marine, with the restaurant sporting its very own replica frieze created by Scottish artist, Jo Anne Ferrie.

Set in picturesque surroundings overlooking the stunning beachfront, Two Fat Ladies at The Marine offers seasonally inspired menus using the highest quality ingredients, celebrating Scottish provenance at its best.

Seating 110 covers, the new restaurant serves lunch and dinner seven days a week to both residents of the hotel and members of the public, who have been celebrating the arrival of the culinary institution on their doorstep at the busy launch weekend.

Like its Glasgow sisters, diners can enjoy classic dishes created by head chef, Andrew Beattie, who returns to his Two Fat Ladies roots, having previously worked under Buttery head chef, Stephen Johnson. Dishes include flash fried west coast scallops, halibut, parmesan mashed potatoes and langoustine bisque and iced dark chocolate parfait, sticky orange sauce, crushed amaretti macaroons.
