The artist has recently been made an Honorary Royal Academician in light of his work that chimes so well with that of past masters. Described as highly erudite, his relationship with art of the past, and indeed with history itself, is evident throughout his creations.
This ambitious retrospective features work across all areas, from books, drawings, watercolours and paintings to sculptures and installations.
Covering his creative output from the early days to more recent efforts, this exhibition looks to present him as an artist who continues to strive for fresh challenges while producing new pieces.
