UTair Offers New Chaperon Service for Unaccompanied Minors

UTairUTair Aviation now offers chaperon services for passengers aged 5-16 years flying alone.

Minors traveling without their parents or a legal guardian are now entitled to receive the full attention and assistance of UTair flight attendants from the moment of check-in at the airport of departure to the moment they are met by responsible parties at the airport of destination.

The chaperon service is available on all direct regular UTair flights to and from Moscow Vnukovo International Airport and on flights between St. Petersburg and Anapa. UTair is the only airline offering this kind of service to residents and guests of Tyumen and Surgut.

 
Parents and legal guardians can arrange for the chaperon services in advance by contacting the UTair Aviation helpdesk at 8-800-100-08-08 (calls within Russia are free) or +7 (495) 2-280-380 (for calls from Moscow, Moscow Region and international calls). Flights for unaccompanied minors are available at standard economy class airfare without child discount. Prior to the flight parents or a legal guardian must contact the UTair office at the airport to complete an application for the chaperon service.

 

Coloring books and colored pencils are available for children on all UTair flights. Passengers travelling with small children are allowed to check in a baby carriage in addition to the standard baggage allowance free of charge.
