Spoil your loved one with a romantic Valentine’s weekend by the sea with afternoon tea and candlelit dinner both days on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th February, at the stylish Brudenell Hotel, which overlooks the stunning coast at Aldeburgh. A bottle of chilled Prosecco and tempting chocolates will await your arrival in the room plus a rose on the pillow for an added touch of romance.
Start your evening with a glass of Rosé Prosecco and canapés before dinner in the romantic seaview restaurant; the three-course sharing menu has been created by Head Chef, James Barber using fresh, local produce to set the mood for love.
Offering a different selection of dishes each evening, the romantic menu starts with a chef’s mezze sharing platter followed by a choice of five main courses including a vegetarian option. On February 14th the pudding is a decadent ‘celebration of chocolate’, while on the Saturday it changes to a rose water crème brûlée with popping candy and lychee sorbet.
Afterwards take an evening stroll on the beach in the light of the full moon (15th February) before retiring to your room and falling sleep to the soothing sound of waves breaking on the seashore.
The Valentine’s weekend two-night package is priced from £396 per couple for two sharing an Aldeburgh room; upgrades to seaview rooms and suites available at a supplement.
