Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe*, celebrates the 11 millionth passenger flying through Katowice Airport. The 11 millionth passenger, Magdalena Mozgała, arrived in Katowice with her family on Wizz Air’s flight from Bourgas.
Upon arrival, Mrs Mozgala was presented by representatives of Wizz Air and Katowice Airport with a PLN 200 voucher for the Aelia Duty Free** at Katowice and with a return flight voucher from Wizz Air.

Wizz Air offers 21 international low-cost routes from Katowice. In total, Wizz Air now offers 90 routes from 8 Polish airports. Wizz Air constantly develops its network from Poland and the Silesian region. Recently, the carrier announced the inauguration of new routes from Katowice. Starting from late October, passengers can fly to Glasgow in Scotland and to Maastricht in the Netherlands.
