worldhotels-300x62Global independent hotel network Worldhotels continues to work with its partner China World Hotels to rapidly expand the Worldhotels portfolio in China, with nine more hotels joining the network this year. Recent affiliation renewals by the Grand Central Hotel Shanghai and Central Hotel Shanghai, furthermore, are an assuring indication that a solid and sustainable foundation underlies the group’s burgeoning China business.

A ceremony celebrating the renewal of the two Shanghai property affiliations took place recently at Grand Central Hotel Shanghai. Underscoring the significance of the event were the presences of both Worldhotels Managing Director Robert Hornman and Executive Vice President Asia-Pacific Roland Jegge. They were joined by Mr. Zhang Ji Fu, who jointly serves as General Manager of Grand Central Hotel and Central Hotel Shanghai.

Central Hotel Shanghai joined Worldhotels in July 2006, while Grand Central Hotel Shanghai has been an affiliate since March 2009. The decision to renew and continue cooperation for another five years is a strong indication of real value and results being delivered to the two hotels since their inception.

“Today we are renewing our partnerships with Worldhotels for another five years because being part of this international network has brought us tangible benefits, including increased sales and elevated visibility in the global travel market,” said General Manager Zhang Ji Fu. “In addition, the group’s extensive experience and cutting-edge technology solutions enable them to deliver these benefits with minimal effort on our side.”

“We are delighted to extend our partnerships with Grand Central Hotel Shanghai and Central Hotel Shanghai,” said Worldhotels’ Roland Jegge. “As hotels that offer travellers a unique and luxurious accommodation experience, the two properties embody the ideals and values that Worldhotels stands for. We are proud to continue our work with them.”
