Robin Hood Airport Doncaster Sheffield is celebrating having been shortlisted as a finalist at the Golden Services Awards 2013.
The airport, in partnership with its cleaning contractors Initial, were finalists in the category of Best Cleaned Premises –Transport Terminal.
The Golden Service Awards 2013 is the cleaning industry’s premier event. Organised in partnership with the Cleaning and Support Services Association (CSSA), the awards recognise service excellence and provide a benchmark for quality and a means of identifying organisations as leaders in the field.
The awards are also an opportunity to promote the excellent work carried out by cleaning teams and are acknowledged internationally as a hallmark of quality.
Lorraine Daffern, Head of Terminal Services and Security at Doncaster Sheffield Airport said: “We were delighted to have been a finalist at these prestigious awards.
“We pride ourselves on our cleaning services in all areas of the airport terminal and to have received national recognition is fantastic.
“It is a real boost for all our staff to have been shortlisted and it indicates what an excellent job they do.”
