Charleston rated as the most expensive destination in New Year’s Eve

CharlestonCharleston has been ranked as New Year`s Eve most expensive destination in the U.S. The evaluation has been made on the cost of its lodging. The South Carolina seaport city number three among the nation`s costliest cities. The survey has been conducted by CheapHotels.

In Charleston, hotel guests will currently have to spend $339 to stay overnight in the most affordable double room on December 31. Only two destinations are even slightly more expensive: New York City and Miami Beach. There, New Year`s Eve celebrators will have to pay $354 and $360, respectively.
Rounding out the Top 10 is Las Vegas, where revelers can find a room from $215. That dollar figure ranks the Nevada resort city tenth most expensive overall. In terms of percentage rate hikes, however, the Entertainment Capital of the World is the priciest New Year`s Eve destination. Compared to regular rates, a hotel room in Las Vegas has soared +367% on December 31.
