Gulf Air Partners with the Philippine Embassy in Doha to Give Two Tonnes of Relief Goods to Victims of Typhoon Yolanda

Gulf-Air-PartnersGulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Philippine Embassy in Doha recently joined hands to send two tonnes of critical donations to victims of hurricane Haiyan (typhoon Yolanda) in the Philippines.

The relief goods were collected from different communities and individuals in Doha by the Philippine Embassy in the Qatari capital and were then flown by Gulf Air to the Philippines last week.

Gulf Air’s Country Manager to Qatar Mr. Wael Mattar commented, “The longstanding relationship between Gulf Air and the Philippines spans almost 40 years and our ongoing efforts to assist, wherever possible, the victims of typhoon Yolanda are a testament to our strong ties. It is essential for Gulf Air and other entities to support the victims of this natural disaster and provide the necessary aid and support as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
