Yesterday’s gale force winds couldn’t stop Jet2.com from making sure local customers didn’t miss a minute of their much anticipated New York Christmas shopping trip, departing from Leeds Bradford Airport. After having to postpone the flight by a day, Yorkshire’s favourite airline quickly jumped into action and changed their schedule to operate the return flight a day later, ensuring customers still have their full three days in the city that never sleeps.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “There was no way we could disappoint our local customers who have been planning and looking forward to this trip for months. In the season of goodwill we didn’t want to be scrooges so didn’t think twice about changing our schedules to make people’s New York Christmas wishes come true!”
