Christmas at the Galt House Hotel is proud to announce that Country Music superstar singer and songwriter Pam Tillis will star in a new Holiday Dinner Show in 2014. The new show, Pam Tillis & Friends: A Kentucky Christmas Dinner Show will feature some traditional Christmas songs, as well as some of Tillis’ favorites. This holiday dinner show is part of Christmas at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky. It is a favorite among tour groups and this new show featuring Pam Tillis is sure to draw even more excitement among the group tour industry. The show runs November 15, 2014 through December 13, 2014.
Pam Tillis ushers in a new era of the Holiday Dinner Show, and a beautiful voice that will inspire holiday cheer to guests. Tillis has logged six Number One hits, 14 Top Ten hits, won Female Vocalist of the Year from the Country Music Association in 1994, and a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 1998 for “Same Old Train.” The daughter of Music City royalty and a former rebel, Tillis was determined to find her own way as a singer and songwriter. She has written songs for some of the top singers including more than a few of her own hits. She first appeared at the Grand Ole Opry at age eight with her father, and has been a member since 2000. Tillis even lent her voice to Broadway when she joined the cast of Smokey Joe’s Café.
“I can honestly say that I love giving gifts as much as I love receiving them,” said Pam Tillis. “That’s why I am so excited to be partnering with the Galt House Hotel to create a brand new Christmas Show for the Holiday visitors. There will be something for everyone from the young to the young at heart.”
Christmas at the Galt House Hotel is an event where families make holiday memories of magic and wonder. 2014 marks the fifth year for the event, and will bring many changes to all parts of the holiday extravaganza. The 2014 KaLightoscope Christmas event will feature some major updates and changes, but will still include guest favorites like the larger-than-life handcrafted KaLightoscope luminaries, the Snow Fairy Princess and her Castle, and Ernie the Engineer and the Peppermint Express Kiddie Train. Guests can expect more technology and even more interaction throughout KaLightoscope Christmas which will run November 15, 2014 through January 1, 2015.
Christmas at the Galt House Hotel also includes Sing ‘n’ Joy International Choral Festival and Competition November 28-30, 2014, which will bring choirs from around the globe to Louisville, Kentucky.
