spectacular-journeyMSC Cruises is pleased to announce a new and exclusive Grand Voyage for MSC Orchestra in 2015, an exotic adventure that will set out from the dazzling deserts of the United Arab Emirates and then visit the megalopolises and iconic sites of Asia before reaching and exploring the enchanting coastlines of Australia, the world’s biggest theatre, largest island, and smallest continent.

On 21 February 2015, MSC Orchestra’s guests will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime 33-night Grand Voyage that will take them from the wonders of enchanting Dubai, in the Emirates, to Perth in Australia, where the elegant ship will arrive on 26 March 2015.

During the first part of her journey, MSC Orchestra will call at intriguing Mumbai and magical Cochin, India, its splendid coastline studded with coconut palms and sleepy backwaters, before arriving in Colombo, the gateway to resplendent and joyful Sri Lanka.

She will then visit Phuket, Thailand’s most popular and glamorous beach destination, followed by a stop in Langkawi, a true Malaysian tropical gem. Singapore’s skyline will be the ship’s next destination, where she will stay overnight, allowing MSC guests to soak up the charms of this city-state where history and modernity walk hand in hand. Lush Benoa, in Bali, will be the ship’s last stop in Asia, offering travellers the chance to enjoy breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, enchanting temples, and shimmering sandy beaches.

After setting sail from Bali, MSC Orchestra will continue her journey stopping in Cairns, in Australia’s tropical north, a city renowned for its easy access to the wilderness, romantic Port Douglas and laid back ambience. The second port of call Down Under will be Brisbane, with its vibrant atmosphere, excellent shopping scene and gorgeous surroundings. An overnight stay in Sydney will enchant travellers with stunning views of the world-renowned Opera House and the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains in addition to the overall the scenic beauty of the area. MSC Orchestra will then leave the shores of New South Wales en route to Melbourne, the State capital of Victoria, and a lively hub of style, sport, culture and history. The ship will then head towards Adelaide, recently named one of the world’s top 10 cities to visit, an elegant town known for its colonial stone architecture and art de vivre, where travellers can indulge in a wine tasting tour in the famous Barossa valley and sample some of the world’s finest wines. MSC Orchestra will then set sail for its port of arrival, Freemantle (Perth), known as the City of Light for its excellent weather and clean, wholesome environment. Before flying back home, MSC travellers will discover the country’s westernmost capital city, framed by Indian Ocean beaches and Swan Valley vineyards, strolling casually through the winding streets of the historic port.
