Prague Convention Bureau attended the 6th EFAPCO Congress in Malaga, Spain. The main topic of this year’s congress was “Smart Congresses, in Smart Cities by Smart PCOs”. The participants learned about a new concept of the “EFAPCO European Observatory – The voice of PCOs” which will be entirely focused on the development and consolidation of the Observatory.
The EFAPCO Observatory includes the Education Pillar which plays a significant role. Its further development is in the competence of the Czech Republic, one of the 14 European EFAPCO member countries. The results of the Educational Survey within European countries was presented by Mrs. Lenka Žlebková, Managing Director of Prague Convention Bureau.
EFAPCO is a non-profit institution headquartered in Brussels. The Federation complements the national activities of its members, enabling PCOs to have a single strong voice in Europe. The website at http://www.efapco.eu/ gives detailed information on EFAPCO, its membership and activities.
