The South West Trains-Network Rail Alliance has today (Monday 21 July) launched this year’s summer travel offer. Going one step further than last year’s special weekend offers, this year the company is offering an exceptional summer offer for its passengers with £15 return off-peak tickets available seven days a week. The rail operators’ summer offer will start on 26 July and run until 22 August with tickets going on sale for just £15 same day return per adult, and £7.00 per child.*
Passengers will be able to travel between any two South West Trains stations across most of the 616 mile network. The Warminster to Bristol Temple Meads line and the Exeter to Feniton line are excluded, but Island Line Trains is included provided passengers hold tickets to Portsmouth Harbour. The rest of the network covers an impressive amount of territory south and west of London’s Waterloo Station – to the coast at Portsmouth and Weymouth in Dorset, across much of Surrey, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset & Devon.

Not only children’s tickets that little bit cheaper this summer, but we’ve opened up the offer to allow passengers to travel any day of the week, rather than just at weekends. By offering these amazing deals, during the traditional summer holiday season, we hope that passengers will take advantage and have a fantastic time enjoying a day out- wherever they go. It might even encourage more people to give the train a try for the first time.”
Make it a South West Summer tickets can be purchased on the day of travel from any staffed South West Trains station, or from ticket vending machines in unstaffed stations.
