The new initiative, Powered by Cycling: Panorama spotlights 26 short, looped cycling routes, several of which offer a unique chance to explore Denmark’s local gastronomy. Nordic-centred cuisine has caught the imagination of the world and has redrawn the culinary map of Denmark. At many seaside destinations nationwide you can enjoy gourmet experiences made with farm fresh produce and locally foraged fruit and wild herbs – creative cuisine served by some of Denmark’s leading chefs. In Denmark there are culinary experiences to suit any holiday budget in the luxury of nature. You can enjoy local culinary experiences on a shoestring at harbourside smokehouses and the many wayside stalls and farm stores selling garden fruit and vegetables.
