The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort struck it gold this month at Apple Vacations’ Golden and Crystal Apple Awards gala held September 8th at the Art Institute of Chicago.
Both properties received a Golden Apple Award from Apple Vacations, one of the largest and most respected vacation companies in the nation, in recognition of their exceptional service, quality and value. The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort also was recognized as a Crystal Apple Award finalist in the “Best Staff & Service” category.
Accepting the honor on behalf of the two properties were Outrigger Resorts executives John Limper, vice president of sales and marketing, Hawaii/Guam, and Cindy Cunningham, global sales manager.
“What an honor it was to represent Outrigger Resorts and to bring home The Golden Apple awards to our two Waikiki beachfront properties,” said Limper. “Hearty congratulations to the management and staff for winning the hearts and votes of so many Apple Vacations’ travelers. The Golden Apple Award is a true validation that the Outrigger Reef and Outrigger Waikiki are leading the way in providing the highest level of customer service.”
Apple Vacations’ awards are given to hotels that have earned exceptional ratings on Apple’s Vacation Satisfaction Questionnaires completed by customers when they return home. Resorts throughout Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Hawaii were in the mix to receive the People’s Choice – The Golden Apple Award – for high levels of excellence.
