AEA will present its strategic plan for the future and unveil its priorities at centre stage.
For the first time ever, AEA has opened the doors of its annual general meeting to the wider aviation industry to discuss the conditions that are required for sustainable development of the aviation industry. The event will be opened with the general remarks from Mr Bernard Gustin, Chairman of AEA and Mr Melchior Wathelet, Belgium’s Secretary of State in charge of Environment, Energy and Mobility.
“European airlines create added value for Europe. With the changing European institutional landscape due in 2014, we feel today is the right time to start an open discussion between European airlines, other actors of the industry and politicians in order to develop a comprehensive European air transport policy for the future” said Mr Athar Husain Khan, acting Secretary General of AEA.
