An Addis Ababa-bound Saudi Arabian Airlines flight was forced to make emergency landing after a pregnant passenger went into labor. The plane was transporting illegal Ethiopian nationals from the Kingdom to Ethiopia.
The flight which took off from Jeddah landed at Jazan’s King Abdullah Airport
on Wednesday afternoon after the woman began experiencing labor pains. The
woman was then transported to Jazan General Hospital, where she gave birth to
a baby boy.
Sources told Arab News on Friday that Neima Kedire Ismail and her son are in
good health.
The flight resumed its journey after the woman was taken to hospital.
