A staffer of Turkish Airlines’ office in Libya was stabbed to death and another was injured by unknown robbers, a Turkish embassy official told Xinhua anonymously on Friday.
Several people broke into Turkish Airlines’ Libyan office in the downtown Tripoli on Thursday for robbery bid. The employees of the airline resisted the attempt, leaving two of them injured. One of them died on Friday.
More than two years after the end of the 2011 uprising, Libyan authorities are still struggling to assure the rule of the law and the establishment of the nation security forces as a number of militia groups formed during the fighting in 2011 in the North African country.
