Sizzling summer has come to the rescue of tourisms businesses hit by the floods and storms in the first three months of this year as reported by tourism chiefs in the West(region includes Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire).
As the warmest and sunniest months of July likely to go along beach towns from Weymouth to Weston, hoteliers, B&Bs and thousands of visitor attractions inland are reporting a overflowing summer so far.
The stakeholder said the sun-drenched July is starting to lighten the ruthless memory of the winter and spring of 2014, which saw the most soaked winter ever lead to wide-ranging flood right across the region, and considerable storm damage to coastal resorts.
