Southampton Airport is advising passengers to prepare for snow, with a special event to mark the launch of their 2014/15 ski season.
People travelling through the terminal on Friday 5th September are in for a wintery treat – they’ll be invited to pose for selfies in the snowy photo booth, find out about the extensive ski holidays available from the airport and chat to experts about ski equipment and technique.
Seasoned skiers, beginners and those who are a bit ‘rusty’ can all enjoy ski holidays from Southampton Airport.
With flights to Andorra, Grenoble Innsbruck, Chambery, Salzburg and Geneva, a range of resorts and runs for all levels are just a short hop away.
Customers can choose to put together their own ski experience with Flybe, or book a package with Inghams, Neilson, Esprit Ski or Ski Total.
Ski and snowboard specialists will be on hand tomorrow from the Alpine Snowsports Centre in Southampton, so passengers are advised to come armed with their trickiest questions.
Top ski tour operator Inghams also be at the event, giving advice on the best winter resorts to choose from Southampton Airport. Passengers will have a chance to win a ski holiday for two and sample a bit of Jägermeister from World Duty Free.
