Amber Baltic Hotel is an official hotel of the Star Festival 2-6 July: the hotel by the Star Promenade will be a venue of theatrical performances, concerts, vernissages, and meetings with famous people.
During this year’s Star Festival in Międzyzdroje, numerous events will be held in Amber Baltic hotel and on the Open-Air Scene nearby.
The hotel is located by the Star Promenade – a well-known boulevard on which – for years now – the stars have been impressing their palms on commemorative plaques.
It has become a tradition for the hotel to be an official venue during the Amber Baltic festival to hold meetings of stars with the public and numerous additional events.
This year, the hotel’s presence in the festival will be particularly well marked.
The hotel premises will be converted into theatrical rooms for a few days. The Star Festival will be kicked off by a performance of the STU theatre from Cracow, titled “Happy Days”.
Other highlights will include the play “Scenes from the Married Life” of the Warsaw Kamienica theatre, and the play “Family Ties” touring Poland at the moment.
The Andrzej Poniedzielski recital “SzlafRock(&Roll)” will be yet another huge event.
In addition, Amber Baltic will host two artistic exhibitions – the poster exhibition of Andrzej Pągowski who promised to impress his palm on the Promenade this year, and “VIVA! The whole World!”, an exhibition composed of selected portraits of famous people, made over the last 15 years during photo sessions of the biweekly VIVA!
Each day, the hotel will hold meetings with stars.
This year’s event will culminate in a spectacular gala – directed by Krzysztof Jasiński – revealing the palm imprints.
The gala will take place on the stage in front of the hotel.
This year, 10 famous artists are going to imprint their palms in the Star Boulevard.
The Star Festival will feature numerous events and concerts in other parts of Międzyzdroje as well.
There will be some sport attractions with the participation of stars and, as always, a special program for the kids.
The Festival is organized by the International Culture House in Międzyzdroje.
