HKTBChinese New Year Night Parade brought some of the world’s best performances to Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

A total of 34 performing groups from 11 countries and regions
showcased their talents to 150,000 spectators, as they celebrated the most important traditional Chinese festival of the year in Hong Kong, Asia’s world city.

Those who were not in Hong Kong were also able to soak in the festivities, as the Hong
Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) provided satellite feed and fibre signal of the event for live
broadcast to global TV stations, major newswires, and international cruise liners travelling
in Asia.

The 2015 Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade was organised by
the HKTB. Cathay Pacific Airways was the title-sponsor of the night parade for the 17th
consecutive year, while China Construction Bank (Asia) became the route sponsor for the
first time.

As Chinese New Year is a time to spread blessings, the HKTB partnered with the Hong
Kong Single Parents Association to invite about 100 families from the association to enjoy
the night parade in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza.

After the parade, visitors and local residents will still be able to enjoy the parade floats in
Lam Tsuen, Tai Po, and watch the numerous performing groups at selected hotspots in town on 20 and 21 February.

In addition, the third phase of the Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show, also organised by the HKTB, will be staged at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Clock Tower from 21 February to 18 March, offering four shows every evening.
