Abacus partners Tigerair to boost retail sales in Asia Pacific

abacusAbacus is integrating Tigerair fares and ancillary products in an agreement that gives the carrier a fresh platform to compete for travel agent bookings from within the largest portfolio of low cost and hybrid airlines in the region.

 

 
Signed in January 2014, the integration makes the full range of competitive fares of the Tigerair Group of airlines including Tigerair Singapore and Tigerair Mandala available at over 20,000 Abacus agency locations in 31 regional feeder markets, generating significant incremental corporate and leisure business from the channel.

 
Ho Hoong Mau, Vice President, Airline Distribution of Abacus said, “Tigerair introduces even more choice for agencies and end users searching for travel options with Abacus. We welcome Tigerair and look forward to driving new business for the brand.”

Serving over 50 destinations in 14 countries, Tigerair plans to add 18 new A320 aircraft by the end of 2015.
