The new aircraft was delivered to us direct from the manufacturer.
The Airbus A320 is a narrow-body jet airliner equipped with fuel-efficient wingtips (sharklets) and is configured with 16 seats in business class and 148 in economy.
The new aircraft will be integrated into the airline’s existing route network.
Also, a new Embraer 190 is expected in February and two more Airbus A320s in March. A new Boeing 767 will arrive in the middle of the year. As a result, by the end of 2014, the average age of Air Astana’s fleet will be five years, making it one of the youngest fleets in the world.
