Los Angeles bound Air Canada airplane with almost 200 people on board had to make an emergency landing in Des Moines, the capital of the U.S state Lowa. Latest reports suggest that the plane was facing a technical snag when the captain of the plane announced an emergency landing.
The Air Canada plane was flying from Toronto to Los Angeles when an indication of “HOT BRAKES” initiated the emergency call from the captain. The plane operated by Air Canada was an Airbus A321. The plane landed safely at the Des Moines International Airport. No injuries were reported.
According to the reports, the plane departed the Toronto Pearson International Airport at 5:49 p.m. and was supposed to land at the Los Angeles International Airport around 10:15 p.m.
As far as the recent reports, the airport and the airline officials were not immediately available to attend the airplane and there was no recent news of any further problem in the Air Canada airplane. The flight is expected to continue to California early Friday.
