Leading air charter broker and Royal Warrant Holder, Air Partner, is pleased to be partnering again with Eclipse Travel, Germany’s leading specialist for astronomical tours, to organise a comet watching charter flight on 8 December 2013.
On 8 December, amateur astronomers will be able to experience the IASON comet from the air, when it will be particularly visible in the German sky. Air Partner has worked with Air Berlin to charter a Boeing 737-800 from Cologne Bonn Airport for the two hour flight. Two experienced photographers from Bonn’s Observatory will accompany the flight with specialised equipment, to ensure that passengers make the most of this once in a lifetime experience, and get some good photos to remember it by.
Paul Argyle, Air Partner’s Director of Commercial Jets, said, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Eclipse Travel again to organise another of these very unusual flights. Air Partner has been trading for over fifty years, and it is as a result of this wealth of experience that we are well placed to work on something so niche.”
