AJW Technique achieves TCCA Approved Maintenance Organisation status

Published on : Wednesday, February 6, 2013

The vision and direction of AJW Group has taken another important step forward with the granting, to AJW Technique, of Approved Maintenance Organisation status by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA), which is also recognised by the USA Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This achievement underlines the determination of AJW to aggressively develop its portfolio to offer world-class total solutions and services to both its existing and prospective customers.

President of AJW, Christopher Whiteside, commented “We have been working to an aggressive timescale and this is the first step in our ramp up phase. Our objective was to start repair operations before the end of the first quarter of 2013 and we will achieve this with a clear focus on the quality and streamlining of processes for optimum turn-around times. As with all AJW group companies, we will not settle for second; our objective is to be the best of the best.”

Achieving TCCA approval has been a primary focus for the AJW Technique team. Employees are justifiably proud that their attention to detail and focus on total quality has resulted in this successful outcome in such a short timeframe.

AJW Technique will be in a position to start receiving multiple part number types midway through February and the capabilities will escalate significantly over the coming months as the business expands to meet the needs of global customers. The Montréal facility is now the centralised hub for the global AJW repair supply chain and will deliver a broad range of component repair and overhaul services to the A J Walter Aviation customer base of more than 800 airlines.
