Alaska Air Group Inc. reported January operational results for its mainline and consolidated operations. Detailed information is provided below.
Alaska reported an 11.8 percent increase in traffic on a 12.2 percent increase in capacity compared to January 2012. This resulted in a 0.2-point decrease in load factor to 83.4 percent. Alaska also reported a record 86.7 percent of its flights arrived on time in January, compared to the 79.0 percent reported in January 2012, when a snow and ice storm in the Pacific Northwest decreased on-time performance.
