Alex and Ani’s charity by design division supports AZA initiatives

AZA-Large-WebsiteRhode Island-based lifestyle brand, Alex and Ani, LLC and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) have partnered in creating a beautiful penguin bangle–a perfect holiday gift that also supports the AZA’s species survival initiatives.

Alex and Ani, which offers eco-friendly, positive-energy products that adorn the body, enlighten the mind, and empower the spirit, has partnered with the AZA through Alex and Ani’s Charity By Design division. Made in America with love, Alex and Ani products embody the message of positive energy, designed by Carolyn Rafaelian, Founder and Creative Director. 20% of the proceeds from the Penguin Bangle, designed exclusively for the AZA, will benefit the organization.

Leading up to the official launch, creative hints were provided to Alex and Ani fans on Twitter, Google+and Facebook so they could guess which charitable organization would benefit from this special bangle. The social interaction between Alex and Ani and its fans raised excitement for the launch of the newest Charity by Design charm bangle.
