A Dallas-Fort Worth bound American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing due to cracked windshield immediately after takeoff from LAX Airport Los Angeles.
The Boeing 757-200 (twin-jet) plane was carrying 180 passengers and 5 crew members.
The flight 2449 took off from LAX Airport when the captain reported of cracked windshield moments after takeoff.
The plane had to return back to the LAX Airport as it made a safe landing. No injuries were reported.
The passengers and crew members, all 185 in number were transferred to a different plane which left within an hour.
The Boeing 757-200 (twin-jet) had reported of cracked windshield earlier in an Air India Flights. It is time that Boeing starts concentrating more on its manufacturing quality than quantity.
