Asia welcoming 2015 aplomb!People travelling in Asia can look out for the grandest New Year’s Eve celebrations in some of the chosen cities of Asia. Please check out our survey and plan a gala fun filled evening welcoming 2015!

Sydney: More than 1 million people are expected to head to Sydney Harbour tonight. For the first time, BYO alcohol will be banned from all official vantage points along Sydney Harbour for New Year’s Eve. Best places have already been taken for watching the fireworks along Sydney Harbour as revellers set up camp early. But if are late do not worry, just being there is merriment enough…watch the sky lit up in amazing display of fireworks.

Singapore: New Year’s Eve celebrations will be highly charges with glide-splashing at an ice-skating foam party to watching performances by Singapore’s Stefanie Sun and K-pop group Big Bang. There will be an eight-minute fireworks display choreographed to a score composed by Singapore’s Julian Wong and Riduan Zalani. A special segment of the music will feature close to 400 drummers, performing at the lower boardwalk in front of the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza. Sentosa Siloso Beach part, The Philharmonic Orchestra will present a gala concert to usher in 2015. The countdown part at Catalunya and number of community bashes will keep moods swinging!

 

Hong Kong: This New Year’s Eve, join the throngs of cheering revellers along Hong Kong’s waterfront and usher in 2015 with a bang! The radiant Victoria Harbour is the belle of the ball for Hong Kong’s spectacular New Year countdown. A party atmosphere will reign supreme as an eight-minute pyromusical display lights up the skies above the iconic Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Whether you watch it from a boat on the harbour, along the shoreline, or up high in a skyscraper, it’s definitely worth planning early to ensure a prime spot!

 

Beijing: The city is known for its impressive club parties and there will be an abundance of them. In the 798 Factory District the Yen celebration always draws a lot of party goers’ thanks to its awesome atmosphere and legendary DJ’s that will be leading the event and entertaining about 2,000 guests.

 

Bangkok: Bangkok will rock with its amazing nightlife atmosphere and will take the entire celebration to a great level. The city has many popular places but shoppers will find delightful bargains in Bangkok today. It is one of the biggest shopping places of the world and the biggest countdown event of Bangkok occurs in front of the Central World Square. Thousands of people gather in the Central World Square in order to attend the celebration and welcome the New Year. The prime spirit of the festival begins with the NYE fireworks shows.  Magnificent light, different types of sound shows, live concert by the popular local bands will keep the moods alive. If you really want to witness all such entertainment, try to reach two hours before midnight in order to avoid the traffic!

 

Dubai: Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building at nearly a half-mile high and an iconic symbol of the city, will be swathed in an LED screen (quite possibly the world’s largest!) as part of six-part firework, laser and light show that will set Downtown Dubai ablaze (visually speaking), creating a spectacle that, in the city’s signature show-stopping style, will use the world’s most advanced pyrotechnics and LED-illumination technology. “Strobe-light effects,” “volcanic waves” and a “shower of stars” over downtown will complement the abounding fireworks, culminating in a “never-before-seen” finale. With good food and frolic Dubai is all that you can dream about!

 

Seoul: find delicious food in the top hotels. Seoul’s Times Square will be showcasing its own 2015 New Year’s celebrations sure to be exceptional. It’s an extensive lifestyle complex filled with a diverse assortment of entertainment venues, restaurants, shops, accommodations, a massive performance center, the world’s biggest movie screen and a number of spacious outdoor areas.

 

Tokyo: Once a temple bell rings at midnight (108 times), the crowds begin to celebrate the arrival of the New Year and Tokyo’s (and other Japanese city’s shrines) are visited by millions of people during the New Year period. Tokyo is both a time for reflection and family events as well as lively nightlife experiences. For dining out you’ll find that Tokyo has a wonderful range of restaurants, serving an incredible variety of cuisine both traditional and international.

 

Cape Town: The biggest New Years Eve party in Cape Town takes place at the legendary Victoria and Albert Waterfront, complete with a clock tower, perfect for the NYE countdown. A 7 hours of live entertainment in the amphitheatre, bars and restaurants in the area with popular hotel Table Bay and eateries that include Nobu and Reubens. Spending New Years Eve at the Victoria and Albert Waterfront is also family and budget friendly.

 

Mumbai: If you’re in India during the end of the year holidays, you definitely should consider spending New Years Eve in Mumbai 2015.
