A promotion of Victoria’s key spa and wellbeing experiences is the centrepiece of a tourism campaign announced today.
Minister for Tourism and Major Events Louise Asher said the $500,000 interstate tourism marketing campaign is aimed at continuing the long term strategy to take advantage of Victoria’s abundance of naturally occurring mineral springs and geothermal water.
Targeting women over the age of 35, the integrated print and online campaign positions Victoria as delivering an authentic spa and wellbeing experience based around the naturally occurring mineral waters of Daylesford and geothermal waters of the Mornington Peninsula.
The campaign builds on the success of the three-year multifaceted Spa & Wellbeing program which highlighted Daylesford as an iconic spa destination.
This latest promotion will also feature other key experiences across Victoria that underpins the state’s regional tourism credentials.
For this campaign, Tourism Victoria has partnered with leading national publications Marie Claire, Vogue Entertaining and Travel and Home Beautiful along with other key lifestyle magazines, to continue to raise awareness of Victoria’s spa and wellbeing experiences in key interstate markets.
“The Coalition Government is committed to ensuring that regional Victoria continues to share in the benefits of tourism growth across Victoria” Ms Asher said.
