Auckland Airport advises that its general manager aeronautical commercial

Auckland-airportAuckland Airport advises that its general manager aeronautical commercial, Norris Carter, will be leaving the company at the end of November 2016 to take up the role of CEO of North Queensland Airports Limited.

 
Auckland Airport owns 24.55% of North Queensland Airports Limited (“NQA”) and Mr Carter has been a director of NQA since August 2015.

 
Auckland Airport’s chief executive, Adrian Littlewood, says, “Norris has made a great contribution to Auckland Airport since he joined us in 2014. He has played an important role in attracting new airlines and expanding existing routes which has helped fuel the growth in New Zealand’s tourism industry over recent years.”

 
“In his time as a director of NQA, Norris has made an important contribution to its strategy and execution and I have no doubt that his experience in aviation, airports and tourism will be invaluable to NQA in the future. We look forward to working with him to continue growing both its airports in Cairns and Mackay.”

 
“On behalf of everyone at Auckland Airport I thank Norris for his contribution and wish him every success for his new role,” says Mr Littlewood.
