Bangkok Airways led by Mr. Prote Setsuwan, Vice President Marketing and Mr. Songkrot Palakawong Na Ayuthaya, Director of Corporate Affairs & Events organized an inaugural trip for Business persons and Press to Nay Pyi Taw, with a warm welcome from MR. Htay Aung, Union Minister of Hotels and Tourism, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport.
Bangkok Airways operates 3 non-stop flights per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) – Nay Pyi Taw with 70-seater ATR72 aircraft. The outbound flight PG721 departs from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 17.00 hrs and arrives Nay Pyi Taw at 19.00 hrs. The inbound flight PG722 departs from Nay Pyi Taw at 19.30 hrs and arrives Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 22.30hrs. (The local time in Myanmar is 30 minutes behind Thailand)
