Bangkok Airways and Qantas have announced a codeshare agreement which will improve travel options for Qantas customers travelling across South East Asia.
From 30 March, 2014, Qantas customers will be able to book on Bangkok Airways services from Bangkok and Singapore to six destinations in Thailand.
In turn, Bangkok Airways customers will be able to book on five different Qantas international services from Bangkok and Singapore to Australia, as well as on three routes on Qantas’ domestic network.
Subject to regulatory approval, Bangkok Airways’ services under the codeshare agreement are Bangkok- Ko Samui, Singapore – Phuket, Singapore – Ko Samui, Singapore – Chiang Mai, Singapore – Krabi and Singapore – Chiang Rai.
Qantas flights available to Bangkok Airways customers, also subject to regulatory approval, are Bangkok – Sydney, Singapore – Sydney, Singapore – Melbourne, Singapore – Perth, Singapore – Brisbane, Sydney – Brisbane, Sydney – Melbourne and Sydney – Adelaide.
