During the much anticipated one-day visit to Tallinn, Barack Obama visited the 18th-century Kadriorg Art Museum,
Stenboch house in Toompea and gave a well received speech at Nordea Concert Hall during which he complimented Estonia’s continued efforts in democracy and the country’s entrepreneurial spirit. With the NATO Summit Session in Wales his next destination, Mr. Obama also emphasised the dedication US shows towards recognising and collaborating with its NATO allies now and in the future.
During the visit, Obama met Estonia’s leading politicians as well as the local primary school pupils, including a student from western Estonia whose biggest dream had been to meet him in person.
