“Beachcomber Tours South Africa took their Top 10 retail travel agency supporters and top consortium to Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort in the Seychelles to celebrate their achievement, and to award them a prestigious awards event held at Le Mont Fleuri restaurant on the 6th of December 2013. There were many delegates from Seychelles that attended a ‘night to remember’ hosted by Mr Norbert Couvreur, the General Manager of the Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort and his team. Seen in the photo is the manager/owner of Webtours, Edwina Fletcher, who won the top Seychelles sales award. She is flanked by Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and Terry Munro, the Managing Director of Beachcomber Tours South Africa.
At the award event, Minister St.Ange accompanied by Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board were seated with Justin Gosling, the GM of Marketing of Air Seychelles and Terry Munro, the Managing Director of Beachcomber Tours South Africa and Edwina Fletcher of Webtours, the winner of the top Seychelles sales award for Beachcomber Tour in South Africa. It was at this dinner that Terry Munro and Edwina Fletcher congratulated the Seychelles Tourism Board for their work in South Africa.”You are the most visible Tourism Board in South Africa and you are doing everything to keep Seychelles visible. The ongoing training you are doing with Travel Agents and Tour Operators has help reposition Seychelles in South Africa, and this has been noticed since four years now” The Top Award winner said.
Minister Alain St.Ange said when he addressed the Award Event Dinner that he was thankful to Beachcomber Tours for taking their Top Ten Agents to Seychelles for their Award Winning Event. “We appreciate the importance Beachcomber is placing on Seychelles as a tourism destination for South Africans. We assure you that we value your support and that our offices in South Africa will continue to work with you all to ensure that seychelles gets its fair share of that important market that is so close to us” Minister St.Ange said.
Also present at that Prestigious Award Events Dinner were Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism and Norbert Couvreur, the GM for Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort.
