Each year, the Cultures Workshop presents the Carnival of Cultures: a three-day festival – open to all – in the heart of Berlin. The event, which celebrates the city’s diversity, has been attracting crowds of over half a million people annually since 1995.
From 6 to 8 June 2014, locals and visitors alike will get to experience the capital at its very best: cosmopolitan and international, dynamic and full of life, diverse and colourful. Music and dance groups, amateurs and pros, children and adults will join together for a procession through Kreuzberg.
Another highlight and another great place to discover the diversity of cultures is the street festival held around Blücherplatz square.’
