In particular, the city’s branch of Saigontourist is offering a “360o Tour Trong Nuoc” (360o Domestic Tour) tour, Vietravel has a “Don Chao Giang Sinh” (Welcome to the Christmas Season) tour, and Fiditour is offering a “Festival Hoa Da Lat” (Da Lat Flower Festival) tour. These tours are being offered up to 50% below the normal prices, which is a golden opportunity for travellers to enjoy holiday trips at cheap prices.
However, so far, the city’s travel agencies have received a lower than expected number of bookings for the period. According to their latest figures, there has been up to a 40% decrease in the number of bookings compared with the same period last year. This could be because of this month’s unfavourable weather conditions in the central region, and an oversupply of tours.
