Our snowmaking team has partnered with Mother Nature to create a great start to the 2013-2014 season. Normally Boler Mountain targets the middle of December for opening however weather conditions in the past 6 days have allowed us to move opening day up to November 29th. The staff at Boler Mountain has been working around the clock in the last week to ready the hill for this early opening and take advantage of the weather conditions.
This is the first time we will be open for skiing and snowboarding in November in over 25 years. We are ecstatic to be one of the first clubs to open in Ontario and combined with the fact we were one of the last clubs to close in Ontario last April we have provided southwestern Ontario with an opportunity to ski and snowboard in 6 calendar months of the year, not bad for Canada’s most southerly ski resort.
